Chris
Roy was the co-founder and President of Royalmount Capital Inc., a
Niagara based, independent mortgage brokerage frim, involved in the
mortgage industry for nearly 20 years. In 2010, after two decades
of operating his own company, he decided to join forces with Argentum
Mortgage and Finance Corp. The move to such a forward thinking, technoligically
advanced brokerage gave him a much broader array of tools and products
to offer all of his clients and referal partners. He continues to
specialize in 1st and 2nd mortgages, lines of credit, new purchases
and private mortgage funding.
In
2008, as the sole owner and operator, Chris's company, Royalmount
Capital Inc., was chosen as a Finalist for the prestigeous annual
Canadian Mortgage Awards for independent mortgage brokerage of the
year. He was one of only a handful of finalists chosen by his piers
and industry participants accross Canada from over 2000 eligable companies.
In
2005 Chris attained the prestigious Accredited Mortgage Professional
(AMP) designation, the country's largest and most respected network
of mortgage professionals, dedicated to strong ethics, high industry
standards and continued education. Chris holds a Bachelor of Business;
Economics (B.B.E.) from Brock University, St. Catharines, Ontario. In
2004, Chris was the recipient of the prestigious '40 under 40 Business
Achievement Award', awarded to outstanding individuals in the Niagara
Region who are making their mark in business and who contribute regularly
to their respective communities.
Chris
is driven by a strong sense of commitment to personal values of integrity
