Access to the skating rink is complimentary and offered daily from 9 AM to 9 PM.*

*If weather conditions affect the condition of the ice, the rink will be temporarily closed.

SKATE RENTALS

Bring your own equipment or rent some on site.

Rentals are available from our service counter located in the Urban Park, next to the skating rink, opened during ROYALMOUNT opening hours. *Note sizes are limited :

Monday and Tuesday: 10am to 7pm

Wednesday to Friday: 10am to 9pm

Saturday : 9am to 5pm

Sunday : 10am to go 5pm

LOCKERS

Lockers are available free of charge in the urban park to store your belongings while you skate. You can bring your own lock to secure your items or we offer a lock rental service on site. Note that upon closure of the rink, each day, forgotten padlocks will be cut and personal belongings returned to the concierge desk.

Can I bring my own skates?

Absolutely! Plus, for those who need it, Sports Experts, located on M2, offers a skate-sharpening service at a fee. Skate rentals are also available on site. Please see the “Skate rental” section for rates.

How much does it cost to use the rink?

As part of our commitment to fostering connection and shared experiences, use of our skating rink is free.

What are the rink's opening hours?

The rink is open daily for free skating from 9am to 9pm. From December 23 to January 1st, the rink will follow ROYALMOUNT's holiday schedule. In case of rain or hot weather, the rink will be temporarily closed. To inquire about ice conditions prior to your arrival, contact our concierge team at 514 300-5401 during ROYALMOUNT operating hours.

Where can we put our belongings?

Outdoor personal storage space is available free of charge in the urban park. Also note that upon closure of the rink each day, forgotten padlocks will be cut and personal belongings returned to the concierge service. Secure smart lockers are also available at the concierge desk ($).

Is there a minimum age to access the rink?

The rink is open to guests of all ages. However, we require that young skaters be supervised by an adult 18 years of age or older. Please also note that we are not responsible for any damage or injury caused on or off the rink.

Can I bring my dog?

We love furry friends, but for the comfort of all our guests, pets aren't allowed on the rink.

Can I play a sport (e.g. hockey) on the rink?

We love the enthusiasm! However, for everyone’s safety and to ensure everyone can enjoy the rink, we ask that hockey and other stick sports be set aside.

Can I go on the rink in boots or running shoes?

For safety reasons, we ask that users wear skates while on the rink.

Can I bring alcohol on the rink?

Sorry, alcohol isn’t permitted in the park or on the rink. We invite you to visit our many culinary tenants for refreshments if the items offered on site do not meet your needs.

What is the rink's maximum capacity?

The rink can accommodate a maximum of 90 skaters at a time.
