Terms & Conditions
1) Eligibility
a) This contest is open only to residents of Québec who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
b) b) Employees of ROYALMOUNT tenants, as well as employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of ROYALMOUNT, its parent companies, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and its advertising and promotional agencies, as well as their immediate family members and persons living at the same address, are not eligible to participate in the contest.
2) Contest Period
The contest begins at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Friday, December 12, 2025 and ends on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Time).
ROYALMOUNT may, at any time, adjust the contest rules or terminate the contest.
Furthermore, ROYALMOUNT reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, suspend, or cancel the contest, in whole or in part and without prior notice, if an event beyond its control affects the proper conduct of the contest. In no event shall ROYALMOUNT be held liable for any such modification, suspension, or cancellation.
3) How to Enter
a) No purchase necessary.
b) To enter:
i) follow @royalmount and the participating retailers on Instagram: Arc’teryx, La Vie en Rose, Christofle, Boss, Maje, Rec Room, and Cineplex;
ii) tag a friend in the comments of the contest post;
iii) post an Instagram Story in which you tag @royalmount.
Each action grants one (1) entry into the contest.
This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram.
Participants provide their information to ROYALMOUNT and not to Instagram. By participating, each person fully releases Instagram from any liability relating to this contest.
Any entry that is incomplete, illegible, fraudulent, submitted late, or does not comply with these terms and conditions will be automatically rejected without notice.
Only one entry per person is permitted for the duration of the contest. Any attempt to use multiple Instagram accounts or email addresses will result in the participant’s automatic disqualification.
4) Content
Content that you associate with the contest and with ROYALMOUNT must not be offensive; expose an individual or group to hatred or contempt; contain pornography or be sexually explicit; include threats or harassment; be defamatory or menacing; attempt to mobilize the public against ROYALMOUNT, its merchants, or its clientele; or violate any law of Québec or Canada. ROYALMOUNT reserves the right, in its sole discretion and for any reason, to disqualify any entry deemed inappropriate or in violation of these rules.
5) Prizes
Eight (8) winners will be selected at random.
Each winner will receive one (1) prize, awarded at random from the following:
· A ROYALMOUNT gift card valued at $1,000
· An Arc’teryx Beta AR* jacket valued at $800
· A La Vie en Rose gift card valued at $200
· A Christofle ornament valued at $250
· A Boss Steiff bear valued at $400
· A Maje handbag valued at $450
· A Rec Room gift card valued at $200
· A Cineplex experience for two
Prizes are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
If a prize cannot be awarded as described, ROYALMOUNT reserves the right to substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value, at its sole discretion.
6) Winner Selection and Notification
a) A random draw from all eligible entries will be held at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on January 7, 2026.
b) Winners will be notified by direct message on Instagram and must accept their prize within seven (7) days of the draw by signing the form confirming their acceptance of the terms (see Prize Claim).
7) Prize Claim
a) As a condition of receiving the prize, the winner must:
i) provide proof of identity and Québec residency;
ii) sign a declaration of eligibility;
iii) consent to the publication of their identity along with a photo on digital platforms;
iv) correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question.
b) If the winner fails to meet any of these conditions, the winner will not receive the prize and ROYALMOUNT will conduct a new random draw.
8) Publicity and Image Rights
By entering the contest, each winner grants ROYALMOUNT a royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive, irrevocable, unlimited, worldwide license to publish, reproduce, and distribute their entry, name, photo, image, voice, and city of residence, in all media and on all platforms, without compensation and without further formality. ROYALMOUNT undertakes to use this information only for promotional purposes related to the contest or its business activities, in accordance with the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).
9) Privacy
Personal information collected as part of this contest is used solely for contest administration and prize fulfillment. It will be retained for a limited period and deleted once the prize distribution period ends, unless the participant provides consent otherwise. ROYALMOUNT undertakes to protect this information in accordance with Law 25. Participants may request the correction or deletion of their personal information by writing to: info@royalmount.com.
10) Governing Law
a) ROYALMOUNT’s decisions regarding the application of the contest rules are final and binding on all participants without right of appeal, including, without limitation, all decisions regarding eligibility and the disqualification of participants or entries.
b) This contest is governed by the laws of Québec, and any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the judicial district of Montréal.
